One question I get asked a lot is if you have to have a Ninja Creami machine to make these ice cream recipes.

The answer is yes, but not really.

The Ninja Creami machine feels like magic and definitely yields the creamiest texture, creamier than any ice cream machine I’ve tried.

That being said, my neighbor did try one of my recipes in her nice Cousinart ice cream machine and she loved it, so that’s definitely an option!

Looking for more Ninja Creami recipes?? I’ve got you covered! My Orange Julius Ninja Creami protein ice cream recipe has been #2 for months and readers are loving my Ninja Creami dairy free ice cream recipe! You won’t believe how creamy it is.

INGREDIENTS IN NINJA CREAMI PEACHES AND CREAM ICE CREAM

This recipe features just a few simple ingredients, so this is definitely a very fast and easy recipe! No cream cheese, no protein powder, you’ll love it!

***Full printable recipe card can be found at the bottom of this post.

1 Cup heavy cream

Using heavy cream as the homemade ice cream base makes this traditional ice cream have that amazing creamy texture.

For dairy free, pop a can of coconut milk in the fridge overnight and use just the solids instead of the heavy cream. You can also just use canned coconut cream.

2 large peaches (15.5 ounces)

I used large ripe peaches, but you can use nectarines or even frozen peaches that have been thawed.  Remove pits and peels.

¼ cup granulated sugar

Sugar is going to bring out the flavor of the peaches and satisfy your sweet tooth! If you would like to use a substitute for sugar like monk fruit sweetener I haven’t tested it but please let me know if you give it a try.

HOW TO MAKE PEACHES AND CREAM NINJA CREAMI ICE CREAM

Step 1: Pit and slice 1 of your peaches (7.75 ounces) and blend with an immersion blender until smooth. You can also just use a regular blender if that’s what you have. Set aside.

The other peach will be used as a mix-in later on.

Step 2: Measure and pour cream into the blender ( or a medium sized bowl if you used an immersion blender like I did). Add sugar and blend until smooth.

PRO TIP Half and half might work in this recipe, but I recommend sticking with the heavy cream for the best taste and texture.

Step 3: Pour your blended ice cream into the ninja creami pint container and freeze for at least 12 hours, or overnight.

Step 4 (Next day) Place your frozen ice cream into the outer bowl of the Ninja Creami and fasten the lid until it clicks.

Twist into the motor base and use the ice cream function, and cut the other peach into small pieces while it is processing.

PRO TIP: If your ice cream looks crumbly after the first spin, add 2-3 teaspoons milk or cream and press the re-spin button.

Step 5: When it is done mixing, add the peaches into the center and use the mix-in feature.

HOW TO SERVE

After mixing and adding in the peaches, remove the container from the Ninja Creami machine, scoop your peaches and cream Ninja Creami into a bowl.

Top this delicious ice cream with some whipped cream and more fresh peaches to take your sweet treat to the next level!

VARIATIONS

You can add your favorite fruit instead of the second peach. Just cut that fruit into small pieces and put about ⅓ cup into the center of the ice cream , then process using the mix in button on the Ninja Creami ice cream maker.

Try making a strawberry peach, blackberry peach, etc!

HOW TO STORE LEFTOVERS

If you don’t finish the whole batch, just place the lid back on the container and put it in the freezer. When you’re ready for more ice cream, process as usual.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I substitute fresh peaches with other things like frozen peaches or nectarines? Yes, absolutely! Just be sure to use the same weight as listed in the recipe or it wont reach the max fill line, and thaw any frozen peaches before blending. While we prefer fresh fruit, these options are great when fresh peaches aren’t available.

When I removed my ice cream after mixing it it was in pebbles instead of smooth. A lot of the time you need to add a little milk or cream after mixing it and select re-spin, this will make your Ninja Creami peach ice cream perfectly creamy and smooth.

This peaches and Cream Ninja Creami recipe just might be your favorite Creami recipe yet! It's sooo smooth and bursting with fresh peach flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 large peaches (15.5 ounces), peeled and pits removed (divided)
  • 1 cup ( 8 ounces) heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup (50 grams) granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Slice one of the peaches and puree with an immersion blender.
  2. Add heavy whipping cream and granulated sugar, and blend or whisk until sugar is dissolved and everything is combined.
  3. Pour mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, fasten with the corresponding lid, and place on an even surface in your freezer overnight, or at least 10 hours.
  4. When you're ready for ice cream, remove the pint container from the freezer and allow it to sit on the counter for 5 minutes to soften the edges.
  5. Process on the ice cream setting. If the mixture is crumbly, add a splash of cream or milk and use the re-spin button.
  6. Meanwhile, chop the second peach into small pieces. Once the ice cream has been processed, add the chopped peach to the center of the ice cream in the pint container, and use the mix-in button.
  7. Serve immediately, adding freshly whipped cream and more fresh peaches if you want!
  8. Freeze any leftovers by smoothing into an even layer in the original pint container, and process using the steps above at a later day.

Notes

To Make Dairy-Free:

Make cashew cream by soaking 1/2 cup cup raw, unsalted cashews in a bowl of water overnight, then rinsing and draining. Add to a blender with 1 cup water, and blend until smooth and creamy. You might have more than 1 cup, but only use 1 cup of it for this recipe and store the remainder in the fridge for another use.

If You Don't Have a Ninja Creami Machine

My neighbor has a nice CousineArt ice cream maker that works well with my NInja Creami recipes, so you can definitely try that route!
