I love filling my kids stockings, it’s a fun way to gather a few small items that I think they will love, ones that maybe I wouldn’t normally buy for them.

Christmas morning is pretty simple at my house, we generally gift the kids something they’ve been wanting, as well as a book and an experience they can do with a parent the coming year, then enjoy a hot breakfast I’ve prepped the night before.

Our breakfast always includes my signature Gluten Free Gingerbread Waffles with whipped cream and buttermilk syrup for topping, then we have fruit and sometimes a breakfast casserole on the side.

After breakfast we open stockings, and it’s fun to see the kids reactions! Along with a few items and treats, we sometimes toss in a gift card to one of their favorite restaurants, which gives us something fun to do later!

Whoever you’re shopping for, I think you’ll find a few fun items below!

STOCKING STUFFERS FOR KIDS

With 4 kids, I have gone through a lot of water bottles, so when I saw Homegrown Traditions post a thorough review of over a dozen of them, I purchased her top pick. And I haven’t been disappointed! These water bottles are the perfect size for kids and come in lots of different cute designs for boys or girls (my daughter chose the pineapple one). Everything is removeable for washing, it doesn’t leak, and keeps the water cold all day long.

YoYos are one of those timeless toys that kids of all ages enjoy, so why not get a high quality one? This one has extra long string for all the tricks, and is easy enough for beginners.

Speaking of music, why don’t you snag a free 30-day trial of Amazon music for your teen to play on their new speaker?

STOCKING STUFFERS FOR ADULTS

Backscratchers have been showing up in stockings since the beginning, but I think we can agree that not all are created equal. Ditch the cumbersome wooden sticks for something that will really satisfy that itch.

Give the gift of reading! I’ve had an Audible subscription for years now, and I love that I get a new book every month. As a busy mom of 4, it’s so much easier to find time to read when I can listen while I’m driving kids around, cleaning up around the house, or getting ready for the day. Audible has all the best books, my fav Audible reads have been The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise, Atomic Habits, The Indigo Girl, The Magnolia Story, I am Malala, and anything from Brene Brown (just make sure it’s a version she is narrating herself). You can snag a 1,3,6, or 12 month subscription.

Guys or gals alike will appreciate these trendy leather cord organizers! They come in a pack of 3 so you can kiss those cord tangles goodbye.

Laugh all you want, but Poo-Pourri just might save that special someone from an embarrassing public incident. This stuff comes in a small spray bottle that you can pop in your pocket or your purse – don’t leave home without it.

If you don’t have a digital tire pressure gauge, it’s a must! This one has a backlit display and lighted nozzle as well as a digital display – no more estimating what your tire pressure is.

Gone are the days of buying bulk packs of alcohol wipes that dry out as soon as you open the package, these faux suede reuseable wipes will clean time and time again! Great for smart phones, tablets, LCD TVs, computers, laptops and other delicate surfaces.

DON’T FORGET THE TREATS!

I’ll be honest, if these end up in my kid’s stocking, I might have to sneak one while they’re not looking! These are my favorite treat and they’re guilt-free too!

Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers are by far my favorite gluten free crackers! They aren’t gritty at all, and are light and crispy with just the right amount of salt. You’ll get a total of 18 personal-sized bags here, which is plenty for stocking stuffers plus a few leftover for snacking 😉

Our entire family loves these cookies, and they’re always a huge hit when my kids bring them to school for parties or birthday treats!

It’s a fact: all kids love lollypops and you might just love these too because they’re organic, certified gluten free, and free from the top 8 allergens.

Popcorn is always a fun treat, and these gift tubes from Popcornoplis are probably the best you’ll find! They come in a variety of indulgent flavors, and are non-GMO and certified gluten free. Sometimes you can find the gift packs at Costco for a good price during the holiday season.
