Egg Free Keto Breakfast Ideas
Chia Pudding
One of my favorite breakfast foods because it’s ridiculously easy to make!
Chia pudding is great for meal prep because it can be kept in the fridge for several days without compromising on texture, and is easy to make keto using chia seeds and a low-carb milk like almond, cashew, or coconut along with a keto-friendly sweetener.
PRO TIP: I’ve found that the perfect milk:chia seeds ratio when making chia pudding is 1 cup pudding to 3 tablespoons milk of choice. Stir it a few times within the hour after you make it to avoid any strings of chia seeds.
Bagel and Cream Cheese
Thought bagels were off-limits? Think again! Round up a few simple ingredients to make these Low Carb Keto Bagels from Wholesome Yum, or pick up a bag of Carbonaut Keto Bagels
PRO TIP: make sure you check the packaging, Carbonaut also sells products that are not gluten free in similar packaging) and smear it with cream cheese.

Smoothies
Keto smoothies are a little tricky but definitely can be done once you find a recipe with the right ingredients. Here are a few tips:
- Use full-fat coconut milk or heavy whipping cream for liquid
- Swap bananas for avocados. Many smoothie recipes call for bananas, which create a smooth consistency but avocados work great for this too and are keto-friendly!
- Some fruits are better than others. You don’t have to add fruit to your smoothies, but if you do you’ll want to keep them at a minimum and make sure they work for a low-carb diet. Coconut, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, and kiwi are some of the best options.
Keto Granola
Whether you eat it plain or layered with a keto-friendly plain Greek yogurt, keto granola is a great breakfast option! You can make a keto recipe or purchase some premade. Be aware that some keto granolas are not gluten free, so always check the label!
