Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Pie

If you like chocolate, then you're going to loooove this cool and refreshing version of a chocolate cream pie! This is a show-stopping dessert that takes less than 20 minutes to make, but will have everyone asking for seconds.

Ingredients

  • 1 gluten free chocolate cookie crust
  • ½ gallon gluten free chocolate chip ice cream
  • Any or all of the following be sure they're gluten free: Whipped cream, caramel sauce, hot fudge or chocolate sauce, chocolate shavings

Instructions

  • Thaw the ice cream 5-10 minutes until it is soft, but not melted.
  • Scoop all the ice cream into the pie crust.
  • Freeze until firm.
  • Let the pie sit on the counter for 5-10 minutes before serving so it is easier to slice.
  • Use a sharp knife dipped in hot water to slice the pie. Once it is on serving plates, add a dollop of whipped cream, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce or hot fudge sauce, and chocolate shavings.
  • Store in the freezer.
